Rollerskates & Puppies

What's cuter than kids and puppies? The addition of attitude and roller skates. The two go hand-in-hand, really.

One of my regular clients got a new puppy and I just couldn't help but get a few shots of them together!

I have the most adorable neighbors in the whole world.. and they're troopers, too! They had a ton of fun and smiles despite the 100mph winds and -50° temperatures! Okay, Okay, not really. But it felt like it!

Warm & Sunny Portraits... in January?

This past weekend I got to spend some time with a wonderful family in their beautiful home. The family was excited that they were all together and the photos came out really well.

These two cuties were a little weary of me at first; this strange woman coming into their home with a huge box of lights and a giant camera. But after a few "warm-up photos" they got into the picture taking and completely relaxed. It's funny what the promise of some chocolate treats will do! ;)

I can't believe the weather that day.. it was over 60 degrees, sunny and not a single bit of wind... it IS January, right?!?!?!

A Scaglia Family Christmas Card

I love photographing the Scaglia family! Not only are they fun and super photogenic, but they are one of the most creative families I know!

The Scaglias have a website (scaglia.org)  for their friends and family that shares their everyday ups and downs. It's a really fun website and since they have been great about posting every day, it has gained a lot of popularity. It has become and annual tradition that they re-design their blog every new year with the theme of their holiday card. Their loyal readers wait in anticipation of the card and what hilarious, creative theme it will be this time.

This year's card is the best yet! They ordered a Custom Holiday Card and a Web-Design. With several trips to the thrift shop and flea markets, we created a perfect 1970's nostalgic-style photoshoot. Horrible wallpaper, engineer glasses, teddybear clothing, and turtlenecks make this a card to remember!
